Spring Turkey Hunts:

We have some of the best turkey hunting conditions in New York State with over 3500 acres of access to private farm land and an additional 25,000 acres of surrounding state land. We scout our land well before season and are very familiar with roosting, feeding and travel locations of mature gobblers. With our guides constantly on the look out for new signs, we can pretty much guarantee you action each time out. Portions of the land have been worked over and turned into food plots to help better our environment and better the habitat for wildlife. In the midst of your hunts through these rolling ridges, it’s not uncommon to come across a field or two planted with things such as clover, timothy, alfalfa, sunflowers and such. These help to improve the survival rate of our turkeys through the long, cold NY winters and keeps them strong to produce healthier broods in the spring.

We offer only a limited number of hunters for both spring and fall turkey season to maintain the quality of hunt that we both want. Common packages run for 3 days. This includes overnight accommodations and guide. This also includes a welcome dinner to those hunters that arrive before 7PM the day before the hunt. This is also recommended so that hunters and guides can both meet and familiarize themselves with each other and the land that they will be hunting.

We will roost birds together evenings in hopes of a successful hunt the next morning. State regulations allow hunting until noon. By keeping the number of hunters limited, it allows us to stay “in” the birds throughout the season. 2 bird limit - one bearded bird per day.
